I really enjoy working with older people and have been doing so for the past 14 years. This considerable experience means that I have excellent understanding of what Auckland has to offer older people and people with disabilities.

I’ve been running Independence Mobility since 1997 and have been a companion to some of my clients for over 5 years. During an NZTA wheelchair vehicle safety audit I scored 10/10.

While working in the NZ Police, I had extensive first aid training.
My wife and I have two beautiful daughters, both in their teens.

When our friend Rae was no longer able to be transported in our car, we used the services of Independence Mobility. Mark was always so helpful and willing to chat with Rae, even though her speech was impaired after a number of strokes.

After using Independence Mobility for a few trips to the dentist and doctor, we then started to use their fabulous service of taking Rae for outings - Mark was a wonderful companion for Rae, taking her shopping, out for coffee, to the beach and anywhere she wanted to go. He enabled her to be independent.
